A Cracking Little Yorkshire Run

As many of our local Swift Insight members will be aware, our offices are based in Wetherby, a picturesque market town in West Yorkshire.

As well as having some truly beautiful scenery, Wetherby has a hectic yearly calendar of events and attractions. To name but a few, there is the increasingly popular Wetherby Food Festival and the extremely entertaining Wetherby Duck Race (which also raises money for some very worthy charities). You can even visit the magical Stockeld Park or have your picture taken with a Tardis at Wetherby Police Station!

However, our personal favourite is the Wetherby 10k Run. Held on Sunday 4th September at Wetherby Racecourse, the annual event is hosted by Wetherby Runners AC. It is now in its eleventh year and this year will be supporting Wetherby Food Bank.

As well as the 10k race (known as "A Cracking Little Yorkshire Run"), there is also be the Yorkshire Gold 5k and the Mini Marathon for younger runners. If running isn't for you, you could treat yourself to a slice of cake, an ice-cream or have a jump on the bouncy castle! It's a great family day out with a friendly atmosphere and lots of support from local businesses and residents.

Swift Research and Swift Insight are proud to be sponsoring the Wetherby Run for the fifth year and once again our group of volunteers will be running market research from our gazebo.

So if you're in the Yorkshire region on Sunday, why not come along to support the local community, cheer on the runners and maybe even try a few sweets at our taste test!
